The Book Riot quarterly box came on Friday. Hooray! This is the 2nd quarterly box, but my 1st. (I sure wish I had signed up in the very beginning.) I'm giddy over the bookish goodness it contained.

Are you a subscriber to the Book Riot quarterly box? What are you reading? What's happening in your life? Tell me in the comments. Do it.

  2. I miss seeing you around the blogosphere everyday. I'm waiting for you to tell me about your school. I am reading Boy, Snow, Bird. I'm only so-so on it so far. In your best midwestern sense, does that Book Riot box seem like it will be a good deal? I've been toying with it for a while and just cannot make up my mind.

    1. I miss seeing you around as well! Are you on Facebook?? We should hook up over there :D

I've been hearing mixed reactions to Boy, Snow, Bird. I'll look forward to your final thoughts.

The value of the Book Riot box seems good. I think the items inside are worth $50. You might not normally actually purchase the items but the surprise is worth it :D

  4. Yeah, what's up with the vacation pics? :-) I keep thinking about buying a quarterly box from someone. Not sure if it will be BookRiot or Powell's yet. I'm currently reading The Frangipani Hotel and Mr. Loverman. Hope you're enjoying your weekend.

    1. Oooh, I've never even looked into the Powell's box. I probably shouldn't, lol. I have The Frangipani Hotel coming up soon and I'm really looking forward to it.

  5. Count me among those who hope you'll post about your travels--with lots of photos!!!

I didn't know that Book Riot had a subscription program like that, but it's really cool. I wish there were a way to pick and choose them and know what you're getting ahead of time, since so many of those extras they've featured in the first two installments I already have. Is the main book selection in the package signed? If it is, that might be the clincher for me.

    1. It's official. I need to write a vacation post, lol.

I didn't even look to see if the book was signed, ha! Nope...just checked. It would be cool if we could see what there will be in advance but I kinda dig the surprise of it all :D

  6. Reading The House Girl and it's really good, but I also have a load of papers to grade. Somehow March ends up being my busiest school month of the year. Really want to see a vacation post too! Lol

  9. I love seeing what is in the Book Riot box! Even though I contribute to the site, I never really know what's in it. I don't really need more books myself, so I live vicariously through everyone else who gets them!

  16. I want to sign up for the quarterly box, but haven't done so yet. I don't know why...

I also read Above. I'm not quite sure what I think of it yet. I've seen raves of it, but I must be missing something. I didn't think it was bad, but I need to think on it a little more...
