What did you read in January? Here is my January Wrap-Up

Have you signed up for the 50 Book Pledge? I love the look of the shelves, so pretty.

I’m officially a college student. Holy crap. Going to school is a present to myself for the big birthday I’m having later this month. I’ll be 40. Holy crap, again! Stay tuned…I do believe I’ll have to host some sort of celebration here.

  6. 40?!? You're a young'n. 😛 And it's never too late to go to college, even at our advanced age. Again :PAs for my neck of the woods, not much reading today, but we are watching the movie Groundhog Day, live tweeting on Twitter: #itsadoozy. It ought to be fun, regardless of who shows up. I guess there's some football game on today that might interfere with some people's plans ;). Whatevs.

  14. I can see how some people thought Starry Sky was a bit too long. BUT when I think about it I can't think of any sections that should have been cut either so…So I just really liked it 🙂 Winger is a GREAT read, Shannon. I heard about it a lot when it first came out. I finally got around to putting it on my hold list at the library.

  17. Thanks, Heather! Right now I have 4 classes: A Math, an English, Anthropology, and Genetics. Fun, fun! (Except for the math. Yuck)I had a hard time with Out of the Easy 😦 It wasn't even close to as good as her first book.

  28. You'll have to share your classes! How exciting! I've contemplated doing college again when I turn 50. (I'm 49 and my youngest graduates from my homeschool in 2 more years.) I'm not sure I will.

  29. AWESOME going to college!!! I was looking at my old college transcript just last night while job hunting, and thinking \”Man, I should probably go back and finish this one of these days…\” BUT I'm too busy, and can't afford it, and don't really have a career goal in mind anyways.That being said, if I was rich and didn't have to go to work, I would totally go back to school. I get that's the opposite purpose people have in going to college, but I just like to learn 🙂 Good luck!!!
