I hit my 2013 Goodreads goal of 200 books!
Congrats! You have completed your goal of reading 200 books for the 2013 Reading Challenge!

Yay me! |
How are you doing on your goals for the year? There's not much time left!
Congrats for reaching your Goodreads Challenge!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books this week
Thanks so much Ciska :D
DeleteCongrats on hitting 200!
ReplyDeleteThanks Charleen!
DeleteCongratulations on reaching 200! I just reached my goal of 160 last night - instead of changing it again I think I'm going to keep it where it is this time :)
ReplyDeleteI changed my goal half a dozen times, lol. I think I'll set it a bit lower next year. 2014: The Year of No Pressure!
DeleteI am glad to see you managed to get out of your slump, and 200 books already, well done!! That is amazing.
ReplyDeleteFlowers in the attick, that brings back memories. I read it when I was twelve or something and was gripped, but when I reread it recently I could not be bothered anymore. Curious to see how you like it again,
Kind regards,
Thanks Bettina :D
DeleteIt's funny, I feel like a young girl again while I'm reading Flowers. It's so bizarre!
I'm about four books away from my goal -- of 75! Yeah, ONLY 75 *rolling eyes* ;). But really, I'll be glad to get there -- when I do. I'm still happy with what I've been able to read this year.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Bryan!! 75 for a year is freaking awesome if you ask me :D
DeleteCongrats on achieving your reading goal! 200 books, eh? That's incredible. I've read 101 books so far this year, marking the first time I've hit the 100 books read in one year milestone.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to know what you think of Flowers in the Attic now that you're an adult? I loved V.C. Andrews stuff when I was a tween.
I hope you're crazy proud, you should be!
DeleteI'm having the best time reading Flowers. In my heart I know I'm supposed to think it's trash...but I just can't! I LOVE IT.
200 books is fantastic! Congrats on reading your goal. I wouldn't worry too much about not posting reviews. December is always a front row seat to Crazytown.
ReplyDeleteLove Water Memory looks interesting. I will have to come back and see what you thought! :)
Ha ha! That's the perfect way to describe December! Thanks Lindsey :)
DeleteThat’s so funny that you have Flowers in the Attic on here! I just started Flowers for Algernon and was getting them confused because my husband loved Algernon and I was thinking of Attic….
ReplyDeleteI keep hoping and hoping that you end up liking Algernon. It slayed me. Ugly crying, the whole bit.
DeleteFlowers In The Attic! There is a blast from the past!
ReplyDeleteLOL, right?! I can't believe I'm reading it :D Wheee!
DeleteYou and your 200 books! I'm super impressed. Way to be awesome!
ReplyDeleteAw shucks ;) Thanks!
DeleteCongratulations - inspired choice to re-read Dlowers in the Attic :-)
ReplyDeleteKinda bonkers right? I wouldn't have even thought of doing it if it weren't for the awesome folks at Insatiable Booksluts :D
DeleteWoooo! I hit 200 books at the end of last week, too! [high five]
ReplyDeleteAnd ELAINE!!! <3
High Five Heather!! The 200 Club is pretty awesome ;)
DeleteI'm so jealous you completed your Goodreads challenge - congratulations! I'm about 4 books behind my target and I don't think I'm going to make it this year! :-(
ReplyDeleteFind some short books! You can do it!! :D
DeleteI am not sure how I feel about The Scent of Pine. On one hand, it sounds amazing; on another, it sounds depressing as hell. What do you think of it?
ReplyDeleteI don't know how to feel about it either...and I've READ it, lol. It is amazing and it is depressing and whew. I know I have to review it but I don't know how!
DeleteCongratulations on your goal! I have about 12 more books to read before I hit mine.
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you! I hope you make it! READ READ, you can do it!
DeleteCongratualtions on meeting your goal! Yay!! My goal was just 50 and I did do 10 more.
ReplyDeleteWay to smash your goal Athira! Woot woot! :D
DeleteGreat job meeting your goal, you are amazing! My goal is 52 and I've got a couple to go. Good thing I have a couple week left! I may just barely make it!
ReplyDeleteI bet you make it Tanya :D I have faith in you!
DeleteCongrats! Is that the updated goal (I seem to remember you were thinking of extending it earlier this year). Whether so or not, 200 is awesome.
ReplyDeleteYup! This is the updated goal. I started the year out with a lower goal...125 maybe? I can't remember
Delete200 is amazing!! I was telling my book club ladies that I've read 100 and they thought that was an astronomical number. I was like...not at all...you should see what some bloggers manage to get through in one year.
ReplyDeleteThanks! 100 is a GREAT number too :) Way to go Brooke!
DeletePardon my French, but holy shit 200 books! Go you!
ReplyDeleteBahahahaha! No need to pardon your French here ;) Thanks Andi!
DeleteCongrats on completing your goal! 200 in one year is a pretty awesome feat :)
ReplyDeleteThanks bunches Kristin!
DeleteI passed my Goodreads goal by six books so far, but it was nothing like 200! Good job!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennine! And way to go to you as well!
DeleteOh wow! Good job on completing your Goodreads challenge!
ReplyDeleteThanks a million Erica!
Delete:O Congrats!!! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Leela! :D
DeleteFlowers in the Attic would definitely be a blast from the past. I wonder what I would think.....
ReplyDeleteIt's incredibly weird to be reading that book again, that's for sure!
DeleteHA. Elaine.
ReplyDeleteHow did you like The Metamorphosis?
There are a whole bunch of blasts from the past in this post eh? Elaine, Kafka, Flowers in the Attic! Metamorphosis was incredibly disturbing, in a great way!
DeleteLove Water Memory looks like a great cover! And yay on your 200 book goal!!!!
ReplyDeleteI really dig this cover too. I've seen another cover, maybe the hardcover? But anyway, I really like this one :D
DeleteI can't get over how fast you read! How do you do it? Especially with kids??
ReplyDeleteI'm a lucky girl with speedy reading abilities :) My kids are OLD, lol. That helps a lot!
DeleteI added Flowers in the Attic to my TBR list. Sounds great ;)
