All of those links will take you to Goodreads. I haven't reviewed a single one of those books. Yikes. Sad but true.
How can I whip myself back into reviewing shape? Maybe I shouldn't? I don't have to review ALL the books right? Right!
Yes, I will be reviewing a few of these. Soon. Soonish? STOP PRESSURING ME!
I hope you had a great September! Let's go read ourselves silly in October.
You read 18 book? In a month that included Les Miserables?
ReplyDelete*bows*
You, my friend, are amazing. Simply amazing. :D
Thank you, thank you! Accepting your accolades ;)
DeleteThat is an astonishing amount of reading, Kudos on finishing Les Mis!! I wish I had this kind of backlog of reviews. I'm stuck in a slump and having to be creative with my posts these days.
ReplyDeleteI'm so silly for not writing them right away. If I don't...my memory starts to go. I think I need a different strategy. One that involves taking notes!
DeleteCongrats on Les Mis! That is a feat! :) In unrelated news, I named one of the stray cats I feed Cosette. She's just a little orphan girl down on her luck. Lol.
ReplyDeleteDo some of your shorty reviews - that helps me when I get behind. :)
LOL! That is fantastic Erin! Awwww, Cosette :D
DeleteWow, that's a lot of books!
ReplyDeleteJust a few ;)
DeleteColor me impressed! I'm such a slow reader. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy youngest told me she wants to videotape my eyes while I'm reading because they move so fast, lol. I should let her just so I can see for myself!
DeleteYou are a reading machine! I don't know how you could possibly write reviews for the sheer volume you read. Although, I hope Avery will write us another review as she continues on her school journey. I still can't believe that kid is only 13. Awesome work on The Giver!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I really hope she'll want to do more reviews as well. I might just have to make them part of her curriculum, ha!
DeleteWowee, it would take me all month to just read Les Mis! Keep up the superb work, I agree with wordsforworms, you are a reading machine!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tanya :D I do wonder if that's what I should have named this blog in the first place. Reading Machine! Reading Robot! Something along those lines, lol
DeleteThat's a LOT of books in one month. Ditto on the reading machine comment!
ReplyDeleteThanks JoAnn :D
DeleteThat is an INCREDIBLE amount of reading, my friend. Brava!
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you!! :D
DeleteThey're called mini-reviews for a reason! ;-) You had a fantastic reading month.
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly what I need to do :D
DeleteReview what you want and skip the rest. You can do it however you want!
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly what I'll be doing. Whatever I want! Muahahahaha!
DeleteCrapola, you had a stellar month of reading. My numbers went wayyyy downnnn this month, largely due to outside-of-work-but-still-work-related stuff I had to do. And my online classes are in full swing. Oy! Cheers to a kickass October.
ReplyDeleteYou were busy smoking meat and such Andi! :D
DeleteI say you do a mini-review post where you list the books, and choose ONE animated gif that sums up your reaction to the book!! :)
ReplyDeleteHa! Love that idea :D
DeleteCan't believe you read that many in one month! Impressive.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennine :D
DeleteI really want to read that Elizabeth Gilbert book! Happy October reading!
ReplyDeleteOh, you really should! It's a stunner!
DeleteGoodness, you have been busy :) Here's mine: http://booketta.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/its-wrap-end-of-month-round-up.html
ReplyDeleteI really was a busy little reader in September :D Thanks!
DeleteOh my god. You read Les Misérables AND all those other books. I can't even finish reading 4 books in one month...
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit of a maniac ;)
DeleteYou read 18 books including Les Mis? You are officially my hero :)
ReplyDeleteLOL ;) I need a cape!
DeleteI'm just going to say that I echo every other comment here, because holy crap - no wonder you don't have time to write about them! I'm really trying to get reviewing this week, we'll see if I end up with something!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, good point! I'm too damn busy READING to do any WRITING! ;)
DeleteWow! You had a great month. I can't believe you read Les Mis and still managed to get through 17 other books - you are awesome!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely don't need to review all the books you read....although I hope one of your reviews will be for Burial Rites. I'd love to know what you think since I'm considering purchasing it. If you don't review just let me know if it was a good or a bad read for you :-)
Melissa! Burial Rites was melancholy, fantastic, gorgeous, oooh! Read it for sure :D
DeleteI feel like I didn't read as much as normal in September (13/14 books), but when looking over my stats last night, I still read about the normal amount of pages. Almost everything I chose to read in Sept. was a chunkster. Heh.
ReplyDeleteGotta love those chunksters! I'm so glad there are other reading robots out there :D
DeleteYou reading rock star, you! I really want to read the new Elizabeth Gilbert. I read a great article about her in the NY Times recently and it made me realize that I've never read any of her fiction. This one sounds good.
ReplyDeleteIt's really really good, I promise! It clips along at such a good pace and it's so FULL. Sigh...great read.
DeleteI definitely get in moods where I want to read and not review... but I want to hear about Burial Rites! Very impressed with your reading list, especially Les Miserables.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely going to have to do some sort of roundup of these books aren't I? ;)
DeleteYou are my book blogging hero. I don't know who you read so much. I'm with Ru Paul giving you the Jersey Shore fist pump.
ReplyDeleteLOL, you and Ru are too kind!!
DeleteYou kicked September's BUTT! And it's your blog, you don't gotta review if you don't wanna! Though I would be interested in seeing your thoughts on some of those.
ReplyDeleteI am SO BUMMED that I totally failed when it came to Les Mis. Didn't even start it. By the time I got it unpacked and was ready to start it, it seemed hopeless and I didn't even begin. Tsk tsk.
I'm too manic to do readalongs...it wasn't you, it was me, lol. I can't stick to a schedule and I read too damn fast! :D
Delete*Bow Down*
ReplyDeleteLOL, why thank you darlin'!
DeleteI am always in awe of how many books you are able to read! Congrats, you are definitely out of your slump :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much :D I am over it, hooray!!
Deleteimpressive list! I want to read your #16. I'm facing the same problem with reviews!! here is my own September recap: http://wordsandpeace.com/2013/10/03/2013-september-wrap-up/
ReplyDeleteThanks :D The Signature of All Things is fantastic! I hope you're able to read it soon!
DeleteYou were super busy reading this past month! I am curious about how you enjoyed The Clock of Life. I received a copy from the author and really liked it.
ReplyDeleteI was a busy little bee wasn't I? I SHOULD have that review up next week!
