Read and Not Reviewed (Yet!):
Mrs. Robinson's Disgrace: The Private Diary of a Victorian Woman by Kate Summerscale

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn (I'll be chatting about this book with Rebecca @ Love At First Book. She's hosting a giveaway right now..go go!)

Currently Reading:

I cracked you guys. I cracked! I went to the library to pick up 2 books that I had requested forever ago and this one was sitting on the shelf. It was sitting there looking lonely and I couldn't help myself!

I'm in the middle of it now. It's not the best thing I've ever read but it's holding my interest. Not too shabby at all. As soon as I'm done with Tigers it will be back to my self-imposed library ban and back to reading through the pile I already have at home.

Upcoming:

I want to mention 2 holiday events that I've signed up for:

Don't they sound like fun? Consider joining in!

Have a great week everyone! I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving at my sister's house. I hope you know that I'm thankful for you, your comments and your bloggish support!

  1. Lol - I always cave at the library when I go to pick up books I've requested ... I can't help looking around, and I always leave with a book or 2 (or more) than I planned to. Hope you enjoy your reads this week :-)

  2. I have the same library problem! I want to read "End of Your Life Book Club" too but it also sounds kind of depressing ...

  3. I recently requested a book from the library...it hasn't come in, yet, but I'm first in queue. When I do requests and go in to pick them up, I often see more to grab.

I see several tempting titles on your list...enjoy! Now I'm off to check out what you'd recommend to bigoted people...lol

  4. I have wanted to read Clinton's My Life since it was published but have never moved it to the top of my list. After reading your review, I want to make time for this one. Thanks for the information on the Book Blogger Holiday Card Exchange. I just signed up!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Happy Reading!

  10. I feel like I should be all supportive and "You'll do better next time!" with your library ban... and I kind of am. But mostly I feel, "Ha! I'm not the only one in that boat!"

  15. I've been trying to read my own books too, but cracked and went to the library tonight. It was fun to just browse and bring home some random books.
